We launched Rank And Reach in November 2021 with the aim and goal of changing the way Digital Marketing was done in Ireland. The truth is, a lot of agencies provide services but don’t always provide the results that a business needs and this is a major problem. We didn’t want to build an agency, providing services that only just deliver results. The honest truth is that we aren’t interested in driving a couple of hundred visitors through a Search Engine Optimisation Strategy, we are interested in taking a business from Zero to One Hundred and beyond. We do this through in-depth strategies and planning that often targets more keywords than a normal strategy, therefore meaning that we can target more people and bigger numbers.
For example, if you own a Pizza Takeaway in Sligo, your SEO Strategy might include keywords such as “Pizza Takeaway Sligo”, “Pizza Takeaway In Sligo”, “Pizza Shop Sligo” and so on, however, those keywords are just variants of the main keyword, which should be targeted anyway. Our strategies go a bit more in-depth into those keywords and what we can do to really maximise traffic.
Targeting more to generate more
So, following our example of Pizza Takeaway in Sligo, we can identify a couple of factors ahead of any real research. Those factors are that the target audience is somebody looking to purchase a pizza or burger or a kebab. We can also identify that the end user is somebody spending money, therefore making CTA’s even more viable. Using this information, we can look into the trends and searching habits of those purchasing Pizza Takeaway in the local area.
The main keywords searched for this type of business is going to be based around the name of the business, the location and the main food types, such as the keywords we mentioned before. A lot of other agencies would focus on those keywords and stop there, however here at Rank And Reach, we like to go further. We like to create a bank of keywords, each one being targeted just as much as the next to really cover all bases.
For a business such as a Pizza Takeaway, we would look at a copy of the menu, offered by the business. This will often give us a lot of seed keywords to build our detailed strategy from. For example, a Pizza Takeaway might offer items such as Chicken Burgers, Chips, Garlic Bread, Deserts. It’s these items that we can target through a strategy, ahead of the On-Page Optimisations that come with it.
Alongside the other keywords around the products and items on offer, we also target variants too. In regards to a takeaway, these would include “Cheap Pizza Takeaway Sligo”, “Fast Pizza Takeaway Sligo”, “5 Star Pizza Takeaway Sligo” and so on. These are just as important as the main keyword as people often look for the best price or deal.
It’s just about building a strategy that actually covers a business and what they offer, as opposed to just doing the bare minimum.
